Creating Charts Chart builder lets you see your data graphically. Generate your own
professional charts and reports using this intuitive product. Charts can be generated to easily
measure company-wide issues, including statistics on the number, type and frequency of defect/bug
problems reported and solved. In the chart you can see number of bugs of selected type, status,
severity, etc. You can define time period to see how this number changed during it.
To create chart you must first open or activate bug view window and then choose menu

In Chart builder window you can define chart parameters and see generated chart. You can
choose chart appearance by changing chart type (Area, Line, Pie, etc.). You can
generate 2D or 3D charts. When you choose chart type the chart will change its
appearance immediately. Clicking on the Show legend flag will display/hide chart legend
(description). You can enter chart title and footnote text, define column for chart
data (module, severity, status, etc.). For example, if you choose severity column you will get
number of bugs of each severity (fatal, critical, serious, etc.). If you want to exclude some
column values from the chart you can do it by unchecking them in the Include values list. In
the chart you can see current number of bugs of selected type, severity, status, etc. or see how
number of bugs changed during time period.
After you have generated chart you can copy it to clipboard by clicking “Copy to
clipboard” button or save it to BMP file by clicking “Save to BMP file” button.
