Creating filter User-definable filters let you view just the data you want to see. You can
create filters to display only those bugs you want to work with. You can build advanced filters
using “AND” and “OR” operators and use filters to perform advanced searches.
To create new filter you must first open or activate bug view window and then choose
menu Edit -> Apply filter. This will activate “Filters” dialog box. In this
dialog box click Add button to create new filter, Edit button to edit the existing filter
or Delete button to delete filter. Clicking Add button will activate Add filter
dialog box. In this dialog box enter filter description and define filter conditions. To add filter
condition select column, operator and value, then click “Add AND Line” button to add
AND filter condition or click “Add OR Line” button to add OR filter
condition. To delete filter condition click “Delete Line”. After defining filter conditions
click Save button to save filter.
Applying filter To apply filter you must first open or activate bug view window and then
choose menu Edit -> Apply filter or click “Apply filter” button on the
application toolbar. This will activate “Filters” dialog box. In this dialog box choose
filter in the list and click Apply button. Bugs in the current view will be filtered
according to the given parameters. For detailed descriptions about filters see
“Configuring filters” section in this article.
Remove filter To remove filter you must first open or activate bug view window and
then choose menu Edit -> Remove filter. Filtering of bugs in the current window will
be canceled.
Tip: You can apply or remove filters to the current view by clicking on the arrow
on the right of the “Apply filter” button on the application toolbar and then choose the
filter in the context menu (or choose “<No Filter>” to remove filter).
